SAM School Council - Guiding Purpose Statement
As we work to support and enhance student learning at SAM, we will participate in the SAM School Council in an advisory role to the principal where we will foster, develop, maintain, and reflect the culture of the school. To do this, we will create forums for discussion, provide opportunities for families to participate, and, to the best of our abilities, represent our various school community views and voices.
School Council Meetings 2023/24
All families are welcome to attend any School Council Meeting throughout the year. Coming to School Council is an excellent way to learn more about what is happening at SAM, as well as participate in discussions. All meetings are in the SAM School library on:
- Tuesday, September 19th @ 6-7pm
- Tuesday, October 17th @ 7-8pm
- Tuesday, November 21st @ 6-7pm
- Tuesday, January 16th @ 7-8pm
- Tuesday, February 20th @ 6-7pm
- Tuesday, March 19th @ 7-8pm
- Tuesday, April 16th @ 6-7pm
- Tuesday, May 21st @ 7-8pm
Agenda items for each meeting will be posted in advance using the SAM Explorer.
